Introducing: Your Chance to Write for Advanced Riskology

May Theme: Self-Reliance

This month at AR, we're exploring the risks and rewards of self reliance and being responsible for your own life. If you don't want to miss it, join our newsletter.

Since the very beginning of Advanced Riskology, it’s been clear the people who read and leave thoughtful comments are, in many ways, far more interesting than myself.

And the stories I hear via email and across the web of how embracing uncertainty has helped people overcome enormous challenges and do all kinds of fun and amazing things is inspiring and a real testament to the power of smart risk-taking.

I’ve heard from vagabonds living in huts in Central Asia, single mothers who started their own businesses, high schoolers experimenting with their education, and so many others.

It’s incredible!

Over the last 18 months, I’ve grow to really appreciate the community we’ve built here, but I haven’t necessarily done the best job of showcasing all these stories I get to hear.

So today I’m introducing a brand new project that’s going to bring all of the great tales and adventures inspired by risk-taking to the center of the community.

Introducing: Riskologist Field Reports

Starting next week, I’ll begin publishing some of your amazing stories here on the blog.

The idea is that everyone has some type of expertise—some kind of unique perspective about an important piece of life, and I want you to share yours with our community.

Are you…

  • An adventurer that’s found a new, unique way to travel?
  • A life hacker who’s found a great workaround for how to do something difficult?
  • An everyday Joe/Jane who’s had a profound experience with risk that taught you something meaningful about life?

Then I want to hear from you. We want to hear from you.

And you don’t have to be a great writer or run a blog or anything like that to participate. All that’s required is a desire to share something useful with the world.

If you have a great idea, we’ll find a way to share it.

If you’d like to contribute to this new body of knowledge we’re building, and you want a chance to be featured here on Advanced Riskology, then you should submit a piece. Here’s where you can learn more:

–>Learn more about the Riskologist Field Report Project and submit your own

I can’t wait to see your submissions, and even if this isn’t something you want to contribute to personally, I can’t wait to share some of the stories we get with you.

Let’s make this epic.

Best,
